Our spa like atmosphere will bring peace and calm to your treatment session. We pride ourselves in quality care and evidence based practice, with clients best interest in mind.
Prior to becoming an RMT, I worked as an Early Childhood educator for almost10 years. My previous experience helps me to communicate to even the “littlest client”, and make them feel comfortable and welcome.
My clinical focus consists of treating chronic and acute conditions, be it from postural related strains, general tension, post accidents, or surgery. I use a variety of techniques such as Trigger point therapy, myofascial release, cupping and lympatic drainage combined with traditional Swedish massage.
Anatomy is a big part of my treatments – being able to locate structures and identify possible causes of pain helps me perform an effective treatment.
Training and Certification:
Once in the treatment room the therapist will ask you specific questions and discuss the treatment. A short assessment is included as part of your first visit. In the winter please remove wet boots outside the clinics door, we supply slippers or you can bring your own footwear.
